TEAM

Crawford is a founder of Ampere Partners. He was previously a Vice Chairman of Global Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley. He began his investment banking career at Bear Stearns in Hong Kong in 1994 and subsequently joined Morgan Stanley in 1997. Over the course of his 22 year career at Morgan Stanley, Crawford started the Asia-Pacific technology investment banking business in 1999 and subsequently served as co-head of Equity Capital Markets for Asia Pacific, co-head of Global Capital Markets for Asia Pacific and finally Vice Chairman of Global Capital Markets. During this period, he led some of world’s highest profile financings, for clients including Alibaba, Ant, and Softbank, among others. He also served on Morgan Stanley’s Asia Pacific Executive Committee. Prior to his career in investment banking, he worked in strategy consulting and in consumer finance.

Crawford has advised on more than 200 capital markets, private and strategic transactions across technology, healthcare and financial services industries valued at more than $300 billion.

Crawford earned a B.A. in Biochemistry from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Daniel is a founder of Ampere Partners. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in equity capital markets in 1996, and since 1998 he has advised technology companies globally, working out of the London, Boston, Taipei and Hong Kong offices. Daniel led Morgan Stanley’s Asia-Pacific technology investment banking business from 2006 until 2019.

Daniel has advised on more than 100 capital markets, private and strategic transactions for clients in the technology industry valued at more than $200 billion and also originated several principal investments in technology businesses. The range of clients Daniel has advised on spans nearly every subsector, including consumer Internet, fintech, logistics, enterprise software, IT and business services, semiconductors, components, clean technology and hardware.

Daniel earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Management from Universität Rostock.
